Compass (Tehya) Necklace, by All Saints Spitafields

“Compass Necklace” isn’t the official product name from this recently acquired favorite, All Saints Spitafields—a store that almost made me droll the first time I walked in— would rather call it the Tehya Necklace. Their new store in SoHo is phenomenal. The interior design is perfectly consistent with the collection, the steampunk aesthetic was meticulously applied to every little detail: from the vintage sewing machines that line one of the store walls; to the “aged” price tags, attached to the products with rusty mini safety pins. Now here’s what really WOWed me about the visual consistency: when I made online purchase from their “vintage” section, the clothes it came in a beautiful box that also looked rusty and stained, including the tape used to seal the box. Being as the graphic design nerd that I am, I examined the package closely and noticed that, as expected, the box hadn’t been beaten by the UPS carrier, it had the stains and wrinkles were all carefully printed on it.

Back to their products, the contrast between tailored & ragged in the All Saints designs made the brand an instant favorite and resulted in several of their items in my Summer/Fall wish list. Psst! This may be your lucky day: they’re having a sale right now ;)

My All Saints wish list:

Lolita Dress

Rigger Pipe Skinny Jeans

New Military Boot
