Top Shop Union Jack Clutch

I’ve always tried to understand why some people, who have no relationship with Brazil whatsoever, like to wear our country’s flag. Some kind of emotional connection? Pure aesthetics? The truth is, the reason probably varies a lot.

When I was 12 I used to tell my parents I wanted to live in London; where all the cool bands were because, like every other teenager, I had big plans to become a rock star. And like every other adult, today I never became one. Anyway, when I saw this little Union Jack flag clutch at the Top Shop site, it reminded me of that hopeful feeling of years ago and I couldn’t resist buying it. Despite the fact that I was trying to buy much more than just a clutch, the accessory itself has complemented some of my outfits very well.
